Our Leadership.
Naomi Chika is the Managing Director of Rootstone Homes, bringing together a blend of real estate, investment and legal expertise with a deep understanding of the Nigerian diaspora experience.
Born and raised in London, Naomi began her career in legal and compliance-focused environments, developing expertise in risk assessment, stakeholder management and project coordination. She later joined McKinsey & Company in London, working in the Private Equity and Principal Investors (Private Capital) practice. There, she advised high-profile clients—including some of the world’s largest fund managers and FTSE 100 companies—on multi-million-pound acquisitions, from target sourcing and due diligence to operational improvements and time-sensitive project delivery.
After decades in the UK, she relocated to Nigeria, experiencing firsthand the challenges Nigerians in the diaspora and international investors face when navigating its real estate sector. Rootstone Homes was born from these insights, and since its founding, Naomi has helped clients from across the world—including the UK, Canada, the United States, Germany, Norway, Ireland and Kenya—access Lagos’ property market with trust and confidence. Her experience in private equity and legal environments underpins the rigorous due diligence and transparent processes that distinguishes Rootstone Homes from other real estate agencies.
Naomi’s belief in Nigeria’s opportunities was first sparked years ago, when she backpacked solo across West Africa for five months—travelling by road and by public transport from Senegal to Nigeria and crossing nine countries along the way. Today, she combines that early perspective with global investment experience, on-the-ground expertise and trusted networks.
She studied and obtained her degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Manchester (United Kingdom) and Sciences Po Paris (France).
