Naomi Chika

Naomi Chika is the Founder of Rootstone Homes.

Born and raised in London, UK, Naomi began her career in legal and compliance-focused environments. She later joined McKinsey & Company in London as a Consultant, working within the Private Equity and Principal Investing practice. There, she advised leading global investment fund managers, FTSE 100 companies and other strategic investors on multi-million-pound transactions — spanning target sourcing, commercial due diligence, operational improvements and time-sensitive project delivery.

After decades in the UK, she relocated to Nigeria, where she experienced first-hand the challenges Nigerians in the diaspora face when navigating Lagos’ property market — whether for residential or investment purposes. Recognising a gap in the market, Naomi turned her private capital expertise towards Lagos’ real estate, and Rootstone Homes was thus born.

Naomi’s belief in Nigeria’s investment potential was first sparked years ago, when she backpacked solo across West Africa for five months — travelling by road from Senegal to Nigeria and crossing nine countries. Today, she draws on that early perspective, blending global investment experience with on-the-ground expertise and trusted networks.

Naomi holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Manchester (UK) and Sciences Po Paris (France). She also speaks Spanish.
