Our Leadership.
Naomi Chika is the Founder of Rootstone Homes, combining global sales and investment expertise, local insight and trusted networks to connect Nigerians in the diaspora and returnees with high-quality real estate opportunities in Lagos with confidence.
Born and raised in London, UK, Naomi began her career in sales, including with the world-renowned luxury retailer Selfridges, before transitioning into legal and compliance-focused environments, where she developed expertise in risk assessment, stakeholder management and project coordination. She later joined McKinsey & Company in London as a Consultant, working within the Private Equity and Principal Investors (Private Capital) practice. There, she advised leading global investment fund managers and FTSE 100 companies on multi-million-dollar transactions — spanning target sourcing, commercial due diligence, operational improvements and time-sensitive project delivery.
After decades in the UK, Naomi relocated to Nigeria — years after solo backpacking across West Africa for five months, travelling by road from Senegal to Nigeria and crossing nine countries along the journey. That early exposure to the region’s opportunities and challenges cemented her conviction in Nigeria’s long-term potential and her desire to relocate.
Upon moving to Lagos, she experienced firsthand the challenges faced by the diaspora and returnees when navigating its property market. Rootstone Homes was born from these insights and experiences, and since its founding, Naomi has helped clients based across the world — including the UK, Canada, the United States, Germany, Norway, Ireland and Kenya — access Lagos real estate with confidence, clarity and peace of mind.
Naomi holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Manchester and Sciences Po Paris, she is accredited by the Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) and also speaks Spanish.
